Who we are, what we do and a few words about our history
Novicom, s.r.o. is a Czech manufacturer of tools for network management, monitoring and security. Thanks to its own technologies, it achieves above-standard security and operational reliability, even in large distributed networks.
Novicom has been operating in the IT market and in the field of cybersecurity since 1994, and focuses mainly on medium and large customers requiring a high level of security and operational reliability of their networks. In addition to the Czech Republic, it also promotes its solutions abroad.

Novicom is trying to gradually expand its product portfolio so that it can fulfill its vision of an Active SOC.
Key products are Novicom ADDNET for effective management of network services and network access control and Novicom NETWORK CONSULTING – a set of services for organizations that want to maximize the security, performance and efficiency of their network infrastructure. Cooperation with experts helps not only to solve current problems, but also to prepare the network for future challenges and technologies.
As part of Novicom NETWORK CONSULTING services, we also offer the Novicom NADS service – Network Assessment and Documentation Services.
These products successfully prepare customers for connection to an active security surveillance – SOC (Security Operation Center).
Novicom has a team of experienced specialists who provide the following solutions and services in the field of IT and communications security:- Comprehensive development and delivery of standard solutions for monitoring, managing and securing IT networks/infrastructure
- Strategies for ensuring cybersecurity, especially in the area of large-scale networks

- Provision of Novicom products and solutions through a professional network of sales and implementation partners in the Czech Republic and abroad
- Consultation and training of users and administrators of networks and security surveillance centers
The beginning of Novicom and historical milestones
Novicom was founded by two young men – Petr Linke (then 29 years old) and Jindřich Šavel (then 23 years old). Both were passionate about information technology and shared the same opinion on how they could do business in this industry. And because they were also willing to do something for it, they decided to found their own company in 1994. And that's when the history of Novicom began.
1994 – Founding of Novicom, s.r.o. with a focus on server technologies and peripheral import.
1998 – First move. Creation of a special appliance for surveillance management and our own technologies SDP (communication protocol) and SGP (grid platform).
2005 – We enter the market with the MONET product – infrastructure monitoring.
2008 – We develop a tariff system.
2012 – ARPmon – the great-grandfather of our ADDNET – is created.
2013 – Second move. Jindřich Šavel became fully involved in Novicom as sales director and the decision was made to prepare a partner network.
2014 – We enter the market with a new product – ADDNET (currently DDI).
2015 – We decide to exclusively sell our products and solutions through business partners.
2016 – We added the NAC function to ADDNET.
2017 – Third move. We found larger premises in Prague 10 to further develop. We made our first sales abroad.
2019 – We expanded our portfolio with the BVS product – Business Visibility Suite.
2021 – We are successfully continuing to develop ADDNET, we have advanced NAC functions – network access control.
2022 – Fourth move – new address, but in the same place. In an effort to accelerate growth, we tried to join the SUDOP group. And we also expanded our portfolio with the CONSULTING product. At the same time, we started the development of the AI solution MIDARAI and obtained 3 international certificates according to ISO standards.
2023 – Fifth move in Prague. We found new offices in Prague 4. Just for us.
2024 – We celebrated 30 years since the foundation of Novicom. And we left the SUDOP group. Together we agreed that Novicom would grow faster and be more trustworthy for partners as an independent manufacturer.
2025 – We continued with the key products Novicom ADDNET and Novicom NADS. We stopped offering the Novicom BVS product. On the contrary, we are working on completing the AI product Novicom MIDARAI.
