On Thursday, April 10, 2025, Novicom participated in the 15th annual conference Sectec Security Day in Bratislava, the capital of the Slovak Republic, which was organized by Novicom Channel Partner, SecTec a.s.
Novicom was once again a SILVER partner of this popular IT event and contributed to its professional program with a presentation entitled "From detection to response. And with maximum automation!", in which Jindřich Šavel, CEO of Novicom, explained that if you invest everything only in detections, you will know a lot, but you will probably lose the battle for time with hackers - how to minimize damage from a cyberattack.
He showed the audience how to design a balanced system that will support the entire process - detection, investigation, response and corrective measures. And how to combine internal resources with specialized service providers.
Using specific examples, he also explained how they dealt with this in large cities in the Czech Republic, such as Prague or Ostrava, and how the integrated DDI/NAC solution Novicom ADDNET helps them significantly with this.
