Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity: the main topics of the IT Security Workshop 2019 in Prague
On Tuesday, March 26, 2019, the 13th annual IT Security Workshop (ITSW) professional conference was held in Prague, Czech Republic, organized by Exponet in the conference rooms of the Grandior Hotel. Novicom presented its two key products at ITSW – the integrated DDI/NAC tool AddNet and BVS – Business Visibility Suite, which is a tool for clear visualization of network communications and modeling the connections between business services and IT infrastructure.
Thanks to the conference, visitors had the opportunity to learn about current topics in the field of cybersecurity in critical infrastructures, in the field of artificial intelligence and its use in threat detection, and in general with the topic of the future in IT security. Privileged account management, risks associated with users within the company, or the much-discussed risk of cloud computing were also of interest.
Novicom presented its AddNet and BVS solutions as part of a presentation by Sales Director Jindřich Šavel, which was entitled "Network Visibility and Integrated Network Management - an Essential Part of SOC Strategy"."We then discussed with those interested in network protection that only perfect knowledge and control of the protected environment gives defenders an edge over attackers. And how our Novicom products can help with that," added Jindřich Šavel.
The final point for the entire conference was the traditional draw of a visitor survey for interesting prizes.
