On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, another year of the popular IT conference Cyber Attacks took place at the Grandior Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic, with the subtitle "Cybersecurity in Practice". The implementation of the new Cybersecurity Act (nZKB), which will enter into force on November 1, 2025, protection against DDoS attacks in cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments, and ensuring the safety of modern means of transport were the main topics of this annual conference Cyber Attacks 2025.

Novicom was a partner of this IT event and one of the speakers. It contributed to the program with a presentation on the topic "How network management automation contributes to increasing cybersecurity".

When overcoming traditional forms of cyber protection, especially at the perimeter and clients, uncontrolled spread of infections in internal networks often occurs. How network management automation tools can prevent this, not only thanks to effective network segmentation and sophisticated methods of network access control, was explained during the presentation by Jindřich Šavel, CEO of Novicom.

He also showed how to effectively integrate these tools into the entire cyber protection system - from detection, through investigation to response. And how to significantly save human resources and standardize the activities of network administrators even in the largest networks. Information on the underestimated area of network management automation was supplemented with practical experience from deployment in a critical infrastructure environment.

The Cyber Attacks conference was organized by the Czech company Exponet s.r.o.
