Another professional cybersecurity conference that Novicom participated in was Cyber Security from IDG Czech Republic. The conference took place on October 25, 2018 at the Don Giovanni Hotel in Prague and focused on the impact of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and the cloud on the cybersecurity of organizations.

The event was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic, NÚKIB, NCBI and AFCEA.
In addition to Novicom, as a silver partner, more than 15 other companies presented their security solutions at the conference and the event attracted 210 experts.
Jindřich Šavel, Sales Director of Novicom, drew attention to the long-term shortage of IT experts, where the problem is not to buy technologies, but to get people who will take care of them.
"Almost everyone has firewalls, antimalware and other technologies today. What everyone usually lacks is network visibility and integrated network management. Unfortunately, most companies still use Excel spreadsheets for IP address management", stated Jindřich Šavel.
Therefore, Novicom provides a solution relevant to the strategy of building a SOC (Security Operation Center), which without integrated tools for managing the customer's network cannot actively and independently address the response to security incidents.
"Our company offers two key products – AddNet and BVS. AddNet is a unique integrated DDI/NAC tool. In other words, it establishes order in the network and allows for complete collection of information from DDI/NAC operations, from L2 monitoring, and possibly also from Netflow/IPFIX data and syslogs, and for ensuring immediate response to detected threats. And for visualization of network communications and modeling of connections between business services and IT infrastructure, we offer the BVS tool – Business Visibility Suite", added Mr. Šavel.
