Novicom in an interview on the topic of Cybersecurity in the era of IT and quantum computers

In mid-November 2025, Jindřich Šavel, CEO of Novicom, participated in an expert debate organized by the Czech publishing house Economia within the news channel "Hospodářské noviny". The topic of the debate was "Cybersecurity in the era of IT and quantum computers". In addition to Novicom, representatives of IT companies ATS-Telcom Praha and GreyCortex also participated in the debate.

The debate coincidentally was filmed relatively shortly after the robbery of the crown jewels in the Louvre in Paris, which clearly highlighted the fact that not only physical but also cyber security of organizations is important.
Experience shows that opening the door to internal IT systems using passwords like "Louvre" is not an isolated incident. Underestimating such basic security elements indicates that cybersecurity is often not given sufficient attention.
