Novicom solutions were presented at the security seminar: Cyber Security VI
On Thursday, September 20, 2018, Novicom presented itself at the 54th security seminar entitled "Cyber Security VI", organized by the Cyber Security Working Group of the Czech branch of AFCEA in cooperation with the Police Academy of the Czech Republic in Prague and with the support of the National Office for Cyber and Information Security of the Czech Republic (NAKIT).
The topic "Practical Experiences - Cyber Threat Intelligence, Security Operation Centers - risk acceptability" aroused great interest among the professional public from state and business organizations.
The seminar was opened by Mr. Petr JIRÁSEK (Chairman of the AFCEA Cybersecurity Working Group),
Josef POŽÁR (Vice-Rector for Strategy and Development from the Police Academy of the Czech Republic in Prague) and Tomáš MÜLLER (President of the Czech branch of AFCEA).
In the opening part of the seminar, the Director of the National Cybersecurity Institute of the Czech Republic, Mr. Dušan Navrátil, spoke about the current state of cybersecurity in the Czech Republic.
This was followed by individual presentations of security and thematically related solutions from companies and seminar partners - Novicom s.r.o., Corpus Solutions a.s., Veracomp, Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft CZ/SK and ALEF NULA, a.s.
The lecture by Vítězslav Šavel from Novicom focused on the topic: Integrated DDI/NAC and visualization of IT asset communication, as the basis for rapid SOC response.
The seminar took place at the Police Academy of the Czech Republic in Prague.
