SecTec Security Day 2018: Protect yourself in the virtual world!
The 8th annual SecTec Security Day professional conference was held in Bratislava, Slovakia, on March 20-21, 2018, under the title "Protect yourself in the virtual world!". As usual, Novicom participated in the event as an exhibitor and as one of the speakers.
"We are pleased that we could once again be part of this largest Slovak conference focused on IT security. Dozens of meetings at our stand show that cybersecurity is a key topic not only in our country, but also in Slovakia," said Jindřich Šavel, Novicom's sales director.
Novicom presented AddNet - its key product for network management and cybersecurity at the event. This was during Jindřich Šavel's lecture entitled "AddNet - order in the network and its security", and then during a practical demonstration "AddNet - a safe and reliable network, resistant to the spread of Ransomware infections", which was presented by Petr Linke, Novicom's director.
AddNet from Novicom is a unique integrated tool for network visibility, IP address space management, basic network services (DHCP/DNS) and network access control (NAC).

Over 300 visitors from almost 200 companies attended this year's SecTec Security Day, who watched 31 presentations and performances. Topics such as GDPR, IT infrastructure security, and computer data protection resonated at the conference.
