
Seminar Cybercrime and other cyberthreats within the framework of the European Cybersecurity Month 2014
October is once again dedicated to the European Cyber Security Month, ECSM, a pan-European campaign focused on raising awareness in the field of cybersecurity.

The ECSM, launched in 2012, aims to promote understanding of cybersecurity among European citizens and organizations through up-to-date information on developments in online security, raising awareness and sharing good practice.
On October 30, 2014, as part of these activities, a professional seminar "Cybercrime and other cyber threats" will be held, where the Sales Director of Novicom, Jindřich Šavel, will also give a presentation.
The professional seminar Cybercrime and other cyberthreats will focus on the following areas:
- will provide a view of cybersecurity from the perspective of legislative regulation and application practice
- will point out current threats in cyberspace and their connection with cybercrime
- will provide an analysis of current trends in crimes committed via the Internet
- will also focus on the possibilities of reporting illegal and harmful content and activities on the Internet
- will present the activities of important actors in the fight, prevention, education, research and development in the field of cybercrime
The seminar will take place on October 30, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. in room no. 201 at the Police Academy of the Czech Republic in Prague.
