We showed how to accelerate responses to cyberattacks at the Fresh IT 2026 conference
On Thursday, March 26, 2026, the tenth annual Fresh IT conference was held in Prague, Czech Republic, welcoming almost 140 participants from among IT specialists, experts and technology enthusiasts. Novicom was one of the partners and speakers at this popular IT event. It participated in the conference program with a presentation entitled "How to achieve acceleration and automation of response to cyberattacks in a corporate network".
During the lecture, Ing. Petr Linke, CTO of Novicom, summarized common methods of ensuring network administration, including network access control, and their impact on the possibilities of rapid response when dealing with cyberattacks.
He then analyzed in more depth the approach to building integrated network management that meets the needs of automating response measures in the network. In today's era of cyber risks - accelerated by AI - this appears to be a fundamental advantage for defenders.
It also focused on other aspects of this area, such as the lack of qualified human resources, investment requirements, current network documentation, comparison of the approach of building heterogeneous versus homogeneous infrastructure and cybersecurity, including the associated risk of vendor lock.
